Fifteen-year-old Madison wanted to enjoy the everyday freedoms of being a teenager. However, her manual wheelchair often left her exhausted and in pain, making it difficult for her to stay active. Thanks to Variety’s Freedom program, Madison received an electric wheelchair this summer, giving her the independence she needed to explore, stay active, and socialize more freely.
