Our Freedom Program helps children with special needs gain mobility, confidence, freedom, independence and the chance to join in the life of their community by providing funding for specialized ‘adaptive’ bicycles, walkers, wheelchairs, therapeutic strollers and other devices to children in need. These items empower children to be physically independent and build confidence. Specialized equipment is often too expensive for many families raising a child with special needs, especially those with many other expenses related to their child’s care. Insurance doesn’t always cover the costs and families are left struggling to find ways to meet their child’s needs. Variety is able to stand in the gap when all other resources have been exhausted.
Every family has a story to tell. Meet the children.
